Rule Number : 2-0 :APPLICATION OF RATES AND CHARGES
A. -Rates as published herein are stated in terms of United States Currency.All rates published in this tariff, unless otherwise provided, are in United States Dollars and apply per 1,000 Kilos (W), per Cubic Meter (M), per Container (PC) or Each (EA) as defined. Rates shown as applying W/M are in United States Dollars per 1,000 Kilos, or per Cubic Meter and the rate yielding the greater revenue will be charged. .
B. -All freight rates and other charges shall be based on the actual gross weight and/or overall measurement of each piece or package, except as otherwise provided.
C. -Rates indicated by W/M or WM are optional weight or measurement rates and the rate yielding the greater revenue will be charged.
D. -Rates as published herein apply from Carrier’s terminal at port/point of loading to carrier’s terminal at port/point of discharge, and unless otherwise specifically provided herein, individual Tariff Line Items do not include terminal, handling, wharfage, marine insurance or any other assessorial charges which are established by the Custom of the Port, by Port tariffs, or by U.S. Customs. Any assessorial charges which are assessed against the cargo will be for the account of the cargo.
E. -Unless otherwise provided, when the rates in this tariff are based on the value of the commodity, such commodity value will be the F.O.B. or F.A.S. value at the Port of Loading as indicated on the Commercial Invoice, the Custom Entry, the Export Declaration or the Shipper’s Certificate of Origin. The F.O.B. value and the F.A.S. value include all expenses, up to delivery at theLoadingPort.The rates shown in this tariff, except where predicated on specifically lower values or on an Ad Valorem basis, are subject to Bill of Lading limit of value.
F. -Unless otherwise provided in individual Tariff Line Items, rates are provided as applying on minimum lots or quantities, such rates will be applicable only where the minimum quantity specified, is forwarded on one Vessel by one Shipper on one Bill of Lading to one Consignee and Notify Party at one Port of.
